My name is David Jumeau. I am an e-Learning developer and created this site for my personal notes and portfolio on the kind of e-Learning work that I have done or comment on the technology used in the e-Learning industry.

What personal data is collected and why it is collected
When visitors leave comments on the site the data shown in the comments form is collected along with visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on the site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

This is a personal site and I have no desire for multiple accounts are created on this website. Regardless, if someone has an account on this site, or have left comments, users can request to receive an exported file of their personal data including any data provided. Requests can be granted to erase any personal data held. This does not include any data obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. User data is not being sent to other third party companies unless the plugins embedded in this site require users to do so.
